sunny highway through the windshield

One billion US dollars. Or one thousand million. Really even too much to comprehend, at least it is this late in life.

How would I spend it?

I’d buy a toy hauler and travel the country. I’d take day trips on my motorcycle, explore, take pics and share it here on my blog. It’s all I ever wanted to do. But doing it with absolutely no worries about money would be a dream. One billion would be way too much to spend in this lifetime so much of it I’d donate to charity, but with the money I’d use, I’d visit all the places I could.

I could travel until I longed for a home base. Find or build, stay a while, then move on again for a while as the urge strikes.

And when I say travel the country, I mean this country. The US. All the states. Especially the small towns with a single traffic light. All the diners. All the county fairs. Historical places and markers. The shorelines and the inland lakes. There are so many places to visit just here in the US, I won’t do it all in my lifetime.

What would you do with one billion?
