Welcome to the Rewind! How was your week? The theme of rain continues this week as we’ve had a ton of precip and I could probably kayak in my front yard. (God, I miss my kayak!) I’m grateful to not have a basement as there is a ton of flooding going on. Central Michigan got it the worst though, check out the MSU Baseball stadium! At least not many roads are closed around here. The above is a stock photo of mine that I took two years ago in a local parkway, once the water had receded off the road.
It’s the end of Week Two and I’ve been able to lose myself in Netflix, books and blogging, in between physical therapy sessions. I started to read The Woman in Cabin 10, though I’ve gotten mixed reviews about it. I feel like things are healing pretty well and I can do more every day. I’m anxious to increase my exercise to make up for this sluggish past year of decreased activity.
In between PT I finished season one of The Killing and turned Bill on to it as well! I re-watched season one with him so now we can binge watch the following 3 seasons. The final season of Bates Motel was released to Netflix on Tuesday (squeeeeee!!) and I finished it today. OMG.
I was totally surprised to receive the most awesome care package from my sister this week!
This head massager thing is the bomb! Bill could probably put me to sleep with it. And book swag!! The pillow will go perfectly on my black bean bag chair next to the bookcase in my office.

GRATITUDE
I’ve really come a long way recovery wise so I’m grateful for my good health playing a part in my body repairing itself after surgery. My former boss reached out to me and I look forward to seeing her again. And still, friends and family reaching out to see how I’m doing.
I leave you with my all time favorite Zeppelin tune. Rain is actually the last thing it reminds me of, but I love it. And, thunderstorms tonight… Yessssss…
