Okay, so this song has nothing to do with being physically cold. It’s just been through my head as the 40s have lingered and we spent the last of the week dealing with no heat. Every time I think, “it’s cold as ice in here!” I think of this song.
How was your week? I’ve spent most of mine anxiously waiting for word on my future PT sessions. I was told last Monday they recommended I be scheduled for more, now it’s in authorization limbo. Finally I called them yesterday and got three sessions for next week scheduled, though they are still waiting for official authorization. ??
In the meantime I’ve been scheduling my days with PT at home, reading, walking on my treadmill and household tasks such as gathering what I need to get my new REAL ID driver’s license! Fun stuff. I’m hoping I have all the paperwork I need or my flying days are over. Not that I’d complain about that.
I did manage to get some closer shots of my cardinal couple that comes to visit. Bill bought some new suet cakes for the feeder and tossed what was remaining on the ground near the burning bush. On Thursday, my lovely couple paid a visit and I got to get some close up shots, unobstructed by branches.
Last night we finished season 1 of Ozark, and incredibly suspenseful Netflix series. I hope we can find something else to lose ourselves in over dinner as we wait for season 2. Are you currently sucked in to any shows on Netflix? We’re also enjoying Truck Night in America on the History Channel.
GRATITUDE
We have heat again. The new valves for our boiler arrived yesterday and Bill worked until 9:30pm installing them, along with a new thermostat for upstairs that we found we needed. Hundreds of dollars saved. Incredibly thankful for a handy husband and a warm house.
Now if only it will warm up outside!
The warm-up is coming. Hang in there! Your bird friends are quite photogenic. 🙂
Have a great week!

What happened “we spent the last of the week dealing with no heat.”? I’m tired of the cold as well. We’ve had rain, and mud, and more rain, for a long time now. Can’t wait to experience the temperatures we’ve been promised for next week. I hope you’re not cold now!
Hi Maria! Sorry, I didn’t link to my other post explaining that. Here it is.. https://www.kathleenhowell.com/general/thermal-thursday/ Thanks for stopping by! We’re supposed to be in the 50s this week.
