It’s the Rewind! Thanks for stopping by! I’ve got some time to catch up before I grab the next Netflix movie on my list and start my PT exercises. How’ve you been?
Michigan is a winter wonderland again! 4” of the white stuff fell starting around 1pm yesterday, thick, heavy, wet snow. I’m so grateful I didn’t have morning rush hour fun to look forward to. Bill said the roads were a mess when he came home yesterday. And the schools were closed today! WTH, four inches of snow is nothing where we live. School never closed for this when we were kids. Sheesh, I’m starting to feel like, “I walked to school, barefoot, uphill, in the snow, etc….” Hahaha.. But seriously, on the worst days, our district never, ever closed, and there have been so many closings this season.
This morning I put together dinner in my new wifi crockpot but the app somehow lost my password. I’ve used it a handful of times and it’s worked flawlessly, not to mention the initial set up on my home wifi was super easy. And of course, I hadn’t noted my password anywhere. So I attempted the whole initial set up process again only to repeatedly get an error message stating there was trouble with the network (there’s not, everything else is successfully connected). Finally, I just manually turned the darn thing on (I know, that is SO 2017!!!) and tried whole process one more time. It worked. Same steps, nothing had changed. But it’s now working perfectly. This is why I no longer work in IT (pulling hair out). We’ll see what happens when I used it next time, since it wouldn’t even let me reset my password. Sigh.
Another task on my List of Things to Do While I’m Off is get my mp3 player ready for our Sturgis road trip this summer. I need to go through my Napster collection and add some new music, then download my Road Trip playlist to my mp3 player which will require a larger micro sd card. I dream of cruising through the prairie in the hot, dry sunshine.
149 days until we leave! Bill turned me on to this song, which came out in the late 80s, but I don’t remember it all. I love it!
GRATITUDE
I am starting to walk normal again without pain, and I’d almost forgotten what that felt like! I seem to need my cane less and less (I sometimes get up and take off without it) and the soreness from my incision lessens every day. Things are improving by the day and I’m forever grateful. I’ll never again take this for granted!
Have a great week!

Thanks Deb! Hope you’re improving as well.. We’ll have to meet up for dinner soon to toast our bionic parts!
Glad to hear you’re feeling better and grateful for it. I know you’ll always appreciate this, having felt pain for so long.
A wifi crockpot? Wow. Techy! Even to the trouble it caused… hahaha
That song reeks of the 80s! I kind of remember it. It’s fun!
Lovely snow photos. Thanks for sharing!
