Kind of how I’ve felt lately, out there on a wire, knowing I need to move forward, but stuck. The gray skies and lifelessness of this photo reflect my energy level lately, sluggish and tired. I’m sure it’s just the season and the climate here in SE Michigan. I’m not a fan of winter but the low pressure in this region which causes the constant overcast skies makes it a cold, gray, bucket of suck.

On a brighter note, we attended the MARVAC Camper Show yesterday in Novi and I was able to talk to a DNR ranger who confirmed that snowmobiling is indeed allowed at several local recreation areas, Pontiac Lake Recreation Area, Island Lake Recreation Area and Bald Mountain Recreation Area.  Now we just need a bit more snow.

Time is still flying, the work weeks are busy and before I know it, Friday is upon us. I’m glad that this season is going by quickly and that spring will be here soon, but it also reminds me that before I know it, I’ll be five years older. Will I be where I want to be in different areas of my life?

So, onward. I need to make tracks, even if only a few. What do you do to motivate yourself out of a slump, especially during this time of  year?

    1. I’m actually hoping for another dumping of snow sometime before our trails close March 30th. Rode up in the UP in January, had so much fun!
