October 30th will always be Devil’s Night, even though here in Metro Detroit, (and perhaps other places) the name has been changed to Angel’s Night, in attempts to keep the rest of the city from going up in flames.
It’s the eve of Halloween, and on my social networks, photos of carved pumpkins are popping up everywhere. Mine have been glowing on my porch every night this week, building up to tomorrow’s grand finale.
Tonight I will also attempt Monster Bacon Meatloaf, for cremation Halloween night, while watching Dark Night of the Scarecrow, another creepy B flick from years gone by.
Are you carving the traditional pumpkin tonight with the goblins? How are you spending this Devil’s Night?
I am going to be at home watching 80’s horror movies and eating chocolate. My kids are too “old” to go out anymore, so I am going to curl up and thrill myself with bad movies and junk food!

Dana carved pumpkies last night. Didn’t watch anything scary tonight, just a few episodes of Long Island Medium. I know, I know guilty pleasure 🙂
