Hello friends, I’m diving back in again after a brief hiatus. I’ve said before that the road to hell is paved with good intentions, and good intentions are what I had on New Year’s Day – daily blogging and photography goals. Then I shot down to Florida to visit my Dad who was having some health issues and it got away from me. I certainly don’t regret the time away, had a great visit with my Dad and was able to help him, but I’m excited to get back at it now that things have calmed down. And from several other blogs I’ve read today, I learned I’m not alone! It’s easy to get sidetracked when life has other plans.
I can’t believe how fast January has gone. It’s bittersweet – snowmobiling weekends are dwindling, but at the same time riding season is drawing closer. Days continue to get longer and for that I’m so grateful. Like everyone, I long for the first signs of Spring. Riding my snowmobile is the only time I enjoy being outside in the winter, so winter photography is rare for me. I much prefer the warmer temps to spend the day on the road with my camera.
And, as I’ve posted before, I’ve got camping on the brain. Tomorrow is the Monroe RV Outlet Show at the county fairgrounds and in February we’ll again attend the Detroit Camper & RV show in Novi. We may just ride tomorrow, depending on the weather forecast. Yes!
So with that, I’ve got some work to do. I hope to remain consistent and not have many more of these posts this year!
How about you? Still going strong in January or diving back in?
Sorry to hear about your dad Kathleen. I hope he is doing better. Glad to see your back to blogging! I’ve been away for it too for sometime. Hope you’ve been able to go on a few rides and enjoy this warmer weather we’ve been having!
Aw, thanks! 🙂 He’s home and improving, it will just be a lengthy process. Haven’t ridden yet, I’m torn between dying for riding weather and hoping for more snowmobiling weather!
