bare tree against a blue sky
I’m back after a holiday hiatus! Hello and welcome to this week’s Ten Things of Thankful, or #TToT.  Here is the home of Ten Things of Thankful with all the details about #TToT and the linky to join the blog hop. Gratitude is so powerful. What are you thankful for?

My gratitude list includes:

  1. Finding and purchasing a new to me vehicle. It’s done. It was something that has been causing me anxiety for weeks, but it’s done, I made a decision and I’m happy with my new Dodge Durango. I’m one of those people that drive their cars until the wheels fall off, so the new technology has me pretty jazzed. I’m glad it’s done.
  2. Easily finding a buyer for my current vehicle.
  3. That PT is going so well and I really see a difference every week. I’d say I’m about 95%.
  4. Bloganuary and the prompts being something I can actually write about! So many blog prompts I pass up because they really don’t apply or they are about something I don’t want to share publicly.
  5. New blogger friends I’ve met through Bloganuary!  And SO many posts to catch up on.
  6. The mild weather we’ve had this January! It was upwards of 60 degrees this week.
  7. Two of my books on hold through Libby have come available!  Lots of reading to do.
  8. Being in communication with my awesome co-workers through texts. Such a fun, caring group of folks!
  9. The first full moon of 2023!
  10. SUN is in the forecast tomorrow!  Cold, but clear.
What are you thankful for?

  1. Congratulations on your new-to-you car! My husband and I are like you–we drive our cars until they die–so I can relate to your comment about new technology. Our newest car actually has a slot for a compact flash disc–a technology that came and went before we even had the car!

  2. We are drive ’til the wheels fall off people, too, so we not only have old cars (2010 and 2011 and daughter has 2004), but they are also hand-me-downs. Some day, I hope to have one with a back up camera, though! Hope you enjoy your new ride! I’m going to have to look into Bloganuary. I haven’t made enough time for blogging in a couple of years, and I could use a challenge to jump start me!

    1. Yay! Come join us! Thanks for stopping by, it’s nice to meet you! Yes, my dear Explorer was a 2007 with almost 200k miles.. It was time. I chose the Durango for the good reviews and safety rating, but the bells and whistles have been pretty cool to have so far. 🙂
