Happy February!
Well, as promised, we woke up to a blanket of snow with the winter storm warning well underway. The plow had already gone by twice, waking me just before the alarm went off. Great day to stay in!
YUCK!
Cozy warm in my studio, I settled in with a cup of coffee and began several attempts to launch a Google Hangout for our second session of What’s Brewing? I eventually got it figured out (not seamlessly! LOL) and tuned in for a great conversation with Jennifer and Lori.
I was so glad to have this option, especially on a day like today, and it excites me to think of how this will enable us to connect with further artists – those from out of town, and also to remain in touch with those who’s journey takes them from this area. I like the idea of having this option for those who can’t meet in person, we’ll give it a whirl and see how it goes!
In between sips of coffee, we talked about what’s new in our creative lives since our last meetup. I enjoyed hearing about everyone’s status, and sharing mine keeps me accountable to my 2015 goals. Thanks for listening!
We hope you can join us on Friday, February 13th for our evening session of What’s Brewing. Location, again, is yet to be determined, as it depends on who attends. Be sure to let us know via the Facebook event and include your location. Looking forward to it!
Well, I’m off to create some new images. I may head out into my yard, but that’s about it! The reflection off the snow is a real boost to the lighting in my studio. I guess the snow is good for something!
