Hey, It’s Okay is a link up from an awesome blog, Airing My Laundry. We have so much to be thankful for, and even more to be Okay with. Join us? Post any day of the week, I just chose to stick with Tuesday…..mostly. 🙂

It’s Okay that…
- I laughed out loud at the oil change place this last weekend. Typically they peel off the old window cling, apply the new one and then even smooth out any air bubbles with a piece of plastic or cardboard. This time all of a sudden an arm comes through my window and PLOP. Here’s your reminder sticker, plastered over the old one. #thankyouverymuch
- I indulged in more book buying intending to use one of my VISA gift cards. When I clicked the purchase button, it went directly to my saved payment method instead of paying with my gift card. Oops. Well, now I still have the gift card to use! And more literary goodness is on its way. One even arrived ahead of schedule!
- I totally oversalted the homemade diet friendly sloppy joes yesterday. The recipe called for 1 Tbsp of seasoning salt and I should have known that was too much. I sliced up a potato and threw it in while it was simmering, as I’d heard that will reduce the salt if you put too much in. I must have done that wrong too (or not long enough), because I ended up just adding more water and then cooking it down. Except for the water evaporated out without taking the salt with it. Hahaha. The good news otherwise is I think I’ve perfected the recipe, we’ll just try 1 Tsp next time.
- My first Nocturnal Reader’s Box still isn’t here, and I’m antsy! (wringing hands) I’m dying to see what creepy treasures it contains!
Oh no! Sounds like a blooper kind of day!
I so love buying books. And yes, now you have a gift card to use for another day!
I just use the Manwich Sloppy Joe flavoring. It’s pretty good!

That would have certainly been easier! LOL It must have added sugar though. This recipe was Weight Watcher friendly, so I gave it a go. Thanks for reading!
