It’s Okay that..

• Traffic was pretty jammed up this morning on 75. It allowed me to try a grab a few pics of the new Red Wings arena going up. Years from now I’ll be able to say, “I remember when that was first being built!”

• A friend of mine gave me a 300mm lens to see if it worked with my camera. Unfortunately, it didn’t. Would have been great for the strawberry moon last night, but I ended up never even seeing the moon, it stayed behind the clouds.

Got some decent heat lightning photos, though.

• I just settled into my cozy hammock on this breezy summer evening with my tablet with the intent of catching up on blogs I follow when I discovered it was at 8% battery (I had charged it when this pic was taken) when I powered it on. (crying) I had just enough time to flip through Feedly – I really love this blog aggregate but I’m hoping there is an offline mode.

• That the evening is winding down and I still have so much to do! I still have blog posts to catch up on from the weekend, photos to process, and I haven’t picked up a book in weeks.  But again, it’s okay. The work is there, and there isn’t an expiration date.
