As we near the end of summer, sales of fall and winter images start to pick up. It’s a good idea to be ready with seasonal images about six months ahead of time, if possible.
Here is a recent image sale of caramel apples I did several years ago that sold just recently. I remember making (and eating one of) these. I failed to add the milk when I melted the caramel as it seemed to melt fine without it. I dipped the apples, but then when they cooled, the caramel hardened like glass. Bill tapped his rings against one, making a “tink, tink” sound. That should have been my first clue. Eating one resulted in a trip to the dentist.
Fall is such a great time of year. I’m looking forward to getting out and adding to my fall/autumn portfolio. It’s nice when images sell that were created several years back. Some even surprise me when they’re ones I’ve forgotten about!
