Watching
We finished The Watcher! I will never think of arugula in the same way. In fact, I’m going to grow some next year just for funsies.
Still watching Cabinet of Curiosities, though I can’t say it’s become a favorite. Kind of a bit out there for me. I enjoy more serious, “Holy crap, that could actually happen” scariness.
Devil in Ohio. Wow. We are sucked into this one and having a hard time not binging it. We already love Emily Deschanel from Bones, and Madeleine Arthur is absolutely killing it. Really a good series so far.
Reading
I finished Devil’s Night, but I’ll save the other two for next Halloween and be able to get a jump on that kind of seasonal reading.
Next would have been Quiet by Susan Cain, but Reconstructing Amelia came available via Libby, so I now have 7 remaining days to finish that one. It’s a fictional story of a mother whose daughter jumped to her death from several stories at her school after being caught cheating. Only to be texted she did not jump.
Listening
I saw a post on Twitter from Betty Who and was reminded of just how much I love her upbeat music! Takes me straight back to the 90s, but it’s so uplifting.
So what are you watching, reading, listening to? Or, how do you self care in other ways?
Also just a reminder that I’m not an affiliate for any of the links I share, I just do this so you easily can find what I’m talking about. 🙂
I hope you had a great, relaxing week!
Self care… I try to get outside and do something active. But if it’s a messy weather day like today, watching familiar shows or playing video games. Currently re-watching Big Bang Theory for the gazillionth time.
Janelle recently posted…Extra Hour of Life
I can’t wait until I can get back outside hiking.. I never really got into sitcoms but I need to watch Big Bang Theory – I’ve heard how funny it is!!
