I know you’ve heard of this before, it’s not a new concept at all, sometimes called a 365 Project or something else along those lines. But for me, my 2016 Photo a Day Challenge will be something different. In 2016, I will commit to uploading at the very, very least, one photo per day to my Dreamstime portfolio. My microstock photography has gone in spurts again this year and I really want to be more consistent in 2016. Besides, I get grumpy when I’m away from my camera too long.

The photos in this challenge will be photos created that day, not uploaded that day because I have stockpile of 50 images from the weekend prior. My objective here is to get out and shoot or at least be productive in my studio every day.  I’ll share in blog posts this year, the stories behind the photos and any interesting twists. And at the end of every successful month, I’ll do something cool to celebrate.

So, not that it counts, but here is my latest that was just accepted today.  This was taken from the interior of the Michigan Union building on the U of M campus in Ann Arbor, at WordCamp 2015 this past October.

Keep me honest, loyal readers!  Now that I’ve let the cat out of the bag, I hope you’ll join me on my quest!  Would love your feedback and constructive criticism.

Photographers, what are your goals for 2016?
