I came into my office this evening to find Reuben online, looking for a new producer. Yes, their February/March review was still not done and here it is mid-April. He’d gone through the box and used the new ouija board mouse pad that was in this month’s shipment.  Fair enough. I grabbed my camera and we got to work. Luckily, the April/May box has not been delivered, so we’re late, but not too late.

First out out of the box were two magnets, popular images of Ed and Lorraine Warren. The side of my refrigerator has become a ghostly collection that these two will be a perfect addition for!

Also included were two postcards with early Victorian spirit photography, and a pop socket of The Anguished Man. Gah. Read the history on this one!  I don’t know if I want to put it on my phone!

Books!  Two in this box, both by Darcy Coates. I just recently read her book, Voices in the Snow, the first novel in the Black Winter series.  The Whispering Dead is an early release!  Can’t wait to dig into this one.

The other selection this month is The Haunting of Ashburn House. There is a theme to Darcy Coates’ writing!  Haunted houses.. Sign me up! Not pictured is an ebook download that is included, call Bullettime, by Nick Mamatas..

Getting these two into the shirt that was included in this box was pretty much like getting toddlers into a Get Along shirt! And a funny story about this one.. This is the Robert doll, and Annabelle. I at first thought, that isn’t Annabelle, that’s Raggedy Ann!

I consulted the almighty Google (thank God before I contacted Creepy Crate) and I’m embarrassed to admit – that IS Annabelle. Not from the movies. The original, possessed, haunted, cursed Annabelle doll that lives in a glass case in the museum owned by Ed and Lorraine Warren. Yep. The real haunted doll is a Raggedy Ann doll.

For the movies 1) they wanted a more scary looking doll than Raggedy Ann and 2) licensing, permissions, etc. would have been involved to use the Raggedy Ann image in the movies. So they created the Annabelle image.

Which brings me to the mouse pad! If my mouse ever starts moving on it’s own, it’s out of here!

Too cool.  The April/May box should be here any day!  More creepiness to come.
