Night Worms, you totally had us at Campfire Tales, which was the theme for August. We’re just back from a camping trip in Ohio in which we scored the best lakefront campsite I’ve ever been able to reserve, the perfect setting for a great story. So the wheels have been turning every since.

Reuben and Remnar were anxious to get back to their own campsite to share this month’s creepy goodness, although they had a bit of a hard time getting the fire going in the early evening breeze.

In addition to two new awesome sounding books, this month’s package included a Campfire Tales bookmark, Campfire Fears S’mores tea which sounds amazing, and a sharp Campfire Tales vinyl sticker, which I’m thinking is going to go on my kayak.

I absolutely loved Bird Box so when we opened the black padded envelope I was overjoyed to see the sequel, Malorie by Josh Malerman! Definitely moving this one up on the TBR list!

Night of the Mannequins by Stephen Graham Jones is the other book is this month’s shipment which sounds like a delightful short read about a movie theater prank going terribly wrong.. Hehehe..  Both books include signed bookplates!

Now to get this fire stoked up..
