November is on it’s way out and I still have a few days left to share my monthly dose of creepy awesomeness from Night Worms. In this month’s shipment we received 3 books with signed bookplates! I will admit I needed to Google bookplate, the purpose and where to adhere them.

I like that Night Worms is focusing on more books than other trinkets such as mugs and wearables, but I still love that kind of stuff from Creepy Crate. It’s a good balance, I suppose. In addition to the books, there was a bookmark from Night Worms with their slogan, “Horror is Our Happy Place”, two stickers, a Pumpkin King magnet and an ad for Rooster Republic Press which appears to be a site I will soon be ordering from! More creepy goodness.

Is it a coincidence that a crow started going crazy outside just a moment ago?  I never hear them. You’ve added to the ambiance, Mr. Crow. Thank you.

A closer look at this bookmark (it’s actually darker than shown here) and I was in love. Dark woods, reminiscent of a evening hike we took not long ago.

This sticker is of Plague Doctor by @livelyghosts on Instagram. Will have to check that out.

Another sticker by Excession Press, their featured publisher (Grind Your Bones to Dust by Nicholas Day).

A Pumpkin King magnet from The Nightmare Before Christmas! On of my favorite movies. I just snagged the DVD in time for the holidays! I love the Halloween/Christmas mashup.

The Devil’s Dreamland by Sara Tantlinger is a book of poetry based on the life of serial killer H. H. Holmes.  This is the first of its kind that I’ve owned, and I’m looking forward to this one.

A Sick, Gray Laugh by Nicole Cushing sounds downright chilling and this one may gain a spot up the TBR list. The synopsis and reviews on GoodReads sound like this one will take a totally different turn than what I normally gravitate to.

Grind Your Bones to Dust by Nicholas Day has had great reviews on Instagram! I can’t decide which one I’ll read first.

Today is Thanksgiving and I hope you’d had a great holiday.  As we wind down the evening, a book, blanket and beverage sounds perfect.

    1. I can’t remember a time I was truly scared by a book or movie, it think it’s just the creepy thrill I’m after. I’ve ALWAYS loved scary, creepy stuff, even at a very young age.
