It’s the night before Thanksgiving, and unlike most, there is nothing going on in my kitchen.  It will be a quiet holiday this year, just the two of us for dinner and lots to get done over the next five days.  At the last Snowmobile Show in Novi, I collected a plethora of flyers and trail maps and tonight spent the evening marking our 2011 calendar for the following events.

The bikes are parked and I’m doing the snow dance!   I hope to make each of these events next year and have many stories and photos to share.

Happy Thanksgiving!

  1. Happy Thanksgiving Kathleen, it’s sounds as though it’s really the sort of weather for having a yummy feast with a loved one. The weather has turned a little cold here too and the ground was white last night and this morning with tiny wee hailstones which stayed overnight, the sun is shining and the moon was still in all her glory as I walked outside this morning.

I didn’t know that there was a Roscommon in Mi, the next county to us here is Roscommon so I guess that some folk from around here must have settled near you many many moons ago.

  2. Hello there and thank you!! 🙂 I’ll have to research Roscommon, that is interesting.. I love hearing your stories of your homeland, I hope to visit someday, I hear it is just breathtaking. Thanks for reading!
