Well, here we go! I’ve restructured my blogging strategy and this is the first post in the line up.  See my About page for more on what’s to come!

Summer flowers.. We didn’t put any more seed down on our wildflower garden this year, but I still like our little tiny island of wilderness.  Last year we had a rabbit that burrowed down into the foliage but he didn’t stay long.  Wildflowers are popping up here and there, we’ll see what happens this year. I’m so happy to see the bees buzzing around the dandelions in the yard as well. Aldi’s has a bee house I might pick up. Could be a cool addition to the wildflower garden.

With the flowers blooming I looked back through my stock portfolio and thought I’d share what I’ve done on the topic of flowers. It’s a very common subject, but I included some in my portfolio over the years.

The top two photos were taken at the MSU Tollgate Farm in Novi, the last one, Hines Park. The others, from a camping trip, most likely. With over 800 images in my portfolio (and that’s small!) sometimes I glance through and see photos I don’t remember taking!

Thank you for reading the first installment of Microstock Mondays..  What have you been working on?  Share a link in the comments.. 🙂
