Welcome to my first Ten Things of Thankful (#TToT) post.  A huge thank you to my blogger friend Astrid – she shared her contribution to this blog hop on her blog and I love the idea.  Here is the home of Ten Things of Thankful with all the details about #TToT and the linky.

Here are the top 10 things I am thankful for this week.

  1. Bill finding his wedding ring he lost last Sunday! It was in the underbelly compartment of our travel trailer. It slipped off when he was winterizing.
  2. The accommodations I’ve been graced with as I limp along until my hip surgery – an amazing husband who will go to the ends of the earth to help me, generous offers of help from friends, the ability to work remotely, and my walker.
  3. Hearing from our wonderful neighbor out west, who was kind enough to reset our trail cameras.
  4. My beloved 80+ year old maple tree that towers over my backyard.
  5. The luxury of having an abundance of time to shop for a new vehicle, since I’m driving so little now.
  6. Looking forward to being mobile again – to walk without pain, read or listen to e-books on my treadmill, rejoin the gym, kayak and hike next summer.
  7. The hope of being able to ride my snowmobile in February/March 2023.
  8. Dinner with a dear friend Friday night at our favorite Mexican restaurant.
  9. Finally receiving my Detroit tax refund in the mail today.
  10. This glorious, 73 and sunny October day.  I’ll make the most of it.

  1. What a joy, finding a lost wedding ring! My Sweetie lost his years ago and it was never found.

May your surgery bring you the mobility and freedom you’ve been hoping for!

    1. Aw, I’m sorry to hear that.. We were SO happy. Thankfully, he hadn’t gone anywhere so we knew it wasn’t lost in public, never to be found. We figured it would turn up eventually, but what a relief to have that off our minds. And thank you for the good wishes. Surgery can’t come fast enough!

  2. Hi, Kathleen! Welcome to the TToT! I’m so pleased you joined us and hope you will continue to do so! Hop around to visit the other posts this week and I promise you will make several new blog friends by the time you are done!

  3. Welcome to the TToT! It is one of the most writer-friendly bloghops I’ve encountered, here in the virtual world.

Finding lost items, especially those so near and dear is such a great Grat
