Good morning and thanks for stopping by!  Well, the snow gods answered my prayers and here we are in Grayling, MI. We checked in at Fay’s Motel last night and we’re over the moon excited to get out and explore the area trails.  – 15F, though? I wasn’t expecting that.  Come on in for some coffee!

We learned the hard way that the Keurig must accompany us on every trip. We went once where there was not a restaurant nearby and it was almost noon before our first sip.  Horrors!

So it’s off to breakfast soon and our adventure begins. I’m praying already that we can venture out again next weekend.  After March 18, it appears to be over, unless Mother Nature has a trick up her sleeve.

How was your week?

    1. 🙂 Hopefully there is still time. I’m afraid we’re about done this season. Warming temps and rain.

  1. It has been teaming down snow here all day, it appears March is in lion mode. The roads aren’t great for cars and trucks, but I can see snowmobilers being very happy today. Nice post, thanks for sharing.

    1. 🙂 They have brakes. Yes, you can steer the skis as well. I’ve seen plows on 4 wheelers, but not snowmobiles. Perhaps they do?

  2. Kathleen, those snow mobiles look like so much fun. I’ve been skiing before but snow mobiles only seem to be used by staff where we ski. Jet skis are somewhat common here as we live right near the beach. Friends of ours recently bought one but they’re in Tassie and only got their licence when we’d got home. Hopefully, we’ll be back down there before too long and can have a go.
Hope you have a great week!

    1. Hi Rowena! They’re a blast.. It satisfies our motorcycle craving during the winter.. 🙂 I’ve never been on a jet ski/waverunner.. I’m sure those are a riot as well..

  3. My dream! That would be sooooo nice to be able to ride right from home.. We’ve spun around the yard a few times, but that is all.. And yes, we used to have so much more snow! 🙁

  4. What is that white stuff on the ground… lol. I live in Arizona. Your picture does remind me of the time I visited my older brother, years back, in Idaho. He had two snowmobiles and we had a blast. Also coffee not until noon does seem painful. 🙂
