Good morning!
It’s early, and still nice and cool on the patio. Supposed to get up to 91 today.. Yay! I can handle hot weather so much better than cold. Come on in and grab yourself a beverage.
Friday night I was absolutely tickled to read that Wayne County Parks will be hosting the Great American Campout on June 24th! We won’t be there, have other plans, plus it’s more geared towards families in tents, but I was SO happy to see an event that introduces camping and outdoor activities to those that don’t go or have never gone. I couldn’t imagine life without camping and it bums me out that so many kids never get to experience it. Way cool! I hope they have a great turnout.
Reading anything good right now? I’m at the very end of Something Wicked This Way Comes, and will have to watch the movie again soon. Next I’ll dive into my Business Analyst book. It will be a while yet before I sit for the test. I need 7500 hours of documented experience and even with my 4 years at BCBSM (in August!) not everything I do is project related. Soooo, I have a while yet, but I’ll use that time to cram. It works out.
We had another gorgeous day yesterday and I got so much done, inside and out. We then rode out to the Inverness Inn, one of our favorite haunts, and I affixed my GoPro mount to my helmet. The footage was cool, I will post some later.
More coffee? How will you spend this gorgeous Sunday? I am so excited to shortly depart for a Road Trip Sunday excursion and I hope to have an experience to share with you this week. I haven’t ridden much this year and I miss it. I also have a two week long motorcycle road trip to prepare for in August, when we make our annual retreat to South Dakota, the land of our dreams.
Have a GREAT Sunday and let’s catch up again soon!

Sounds like a nice weekend. I’m just taking it easy, learning to deal with humidity and heat that has returned. It takes me a bit to get used to it. Books. Lots of iced tea. A/C vents. I’ll be good.
Hope you enjoy your upcoming ride!

Yes, I feel for those who have to work outside in this weather. On the other hand, I sat wrapped in a blanket all day at work. Freezing AC.
