Well, hello my dear friend! So glad we could meet up on this balmy morning! 9am and almost an 80, sticky degrees. I may not get out and do much outside today, but you will never hear me complain about a hot summer day in Michigan.
If we were having coffee, I’d tell you how I figured out to customize the display on my FitBit app. Woohooo!! You can hide the stats you don’t want to see by holding your finger down on it then dragging it to the red circle with the X. I now have everything I want to see on the first screen, without having to scroll down. You can also rearrange by holding down and dragging. Yes, it’s the little things.
I’m very happy with two new YouTube tracks that some co-workers shared with me, of white noise and thunderstorms. They are a lifesaver! I need complete silence when I’m working, writing or reading. I wish I didn’t! These tracks are a great way to block out distractions.
However, I’m not so happy that I finally broke down and increased my screen size to 125%. The joys of getting older.
I bought a bee house! They had several left at Aldi’s although they show out of stock online. No bees yet, but I saw a tiny, finchlike bird flying away from it yesterday. It hangs from the huge maple tree in the middle of our wildflower garden. We’ll see who moves in.
We enjoyed an evening ride last night out to the Deadwood Bar and Grill in Northville, I’ve not been riding as much as I want to and feel a bit out of practice. Sunday is supposed be really nice, I hope to venture out for Road Trip Sunday!
And look what arrived! I’ve been a member of the Stephen King Library for years, so I automatically receive new hardcovers as they are published. I can’t wait to dig into this trilogy – this is the last book, which follows Mr. Mercedes and Finders Keepers. I’m still reading The Bazaar of Bad Dreams! Maybe today will be a good day to curl up in the coolness and finish it.
How about you? How was your week and what do you have planned?

I love the bee house! I didn’t know they made such things! Very cool.
Thanks! I hope it attracts some tenants.. 🙂
Hi! I think Michigan weather is quite like in Finland 😀
Great to hear you figured out new things with your FitBit. I loooove mine, can’t live without it.
Love the bee house, very exciting, hope there’s many new residents soon.

I love my FitBit too, we have challenges at work and the friendly competition is fun.. 🙂 Yes, I’m excited to see if the beehouse attracts anything without me having to brush honey on it! 🙂
The bee house is I interesting and I wonder what would move into it. Our weather is strange being hot one week and sunny with northwest wind keeping the temperatures down. I find Steven King too violent for me to tead.

Thanks, I’ll be sure to share the results, hopefully I can get some pics.. Yes, Stephen King can be pretty intense.. Makes you wonder what kind of hellacious nightmares he had as a kid!
I’ll take that snow over heat and humidity any day. 🙂
Luckily, we love to snowmobile, too, so it’s not a total disappointment when the weather turns cold.. 🙂
