coffee
Good morning! Finally a nice day to sit out on the patio – I’ve only been talking about this for how long! Make yourself comfy. How are you?

If we were having coffee, I’d tell you that I have a full, sunny day ahead of me washing the trailer. I’m happy that we’ve discovered some tricks – rather than soap, use a mixture of Dawn dish detergent, bleach and powder laundry soap. (Measurements were not given, so I’ll need to Google it.) And for wax, it’s best to use the spray on kind. This can also be applied to the decals on the trailer! So happy to have discovered this, as I was  not looking forward to the time-consuming, very tiresome, wax on, wax off job.

I finished Joyland, by Stephen King. Very, very good story and a relatively short read. Grab it if you haven’t yet!

Haha, check out these squirrels! We have two younger black squirrels that live in our maples, siblings maybe? They chase each other non-stop in a spiral up and down our tree, jumping branches and doing the same on the next tree. Yesterday evening I was in our hammock finishing my book when I heard the scratching and looked up. The hammock was directly under where the branches come together. I cautiously watched, hoping I wouldn’t be the recipient of a falling rodent.

More coffee?

If we were having coffee, I’d be so excited to tell you I’ve decided to start working on the CBAP certification! (Certified Business Analyst Professional) My book came the other day and it’s my next non-fiction I’ll be digging into.

BA work is a lot of what I already do, so I think formal training and the cert is a good idea. I enjoy the work and it can span multiple industries, yet I’d like to stay in healthcare. So, I’m off on my journey!  Keep me accountable, weekend coffee friends!

    1. Thanks! Yes, I’m excited.. Time to get back into the swing of things and keeping up with the world.

  1. I enjoyed “Joyland” too. Not every Stephen King book appeals to me but some of his less gruesome ones do, although I did like “It” and that was pretty gruesome! Squirrels always look like there having so much fun, don’t they? They like to drive my husband crazy by eating all the bird food out of our feeder!

    1. Yes, I’m definitely more suspense, thriller, haunted, ghost story type reader than gruesome and gory. IT was amazing. I may reread it again before the movie comes out this fall. So much detail I’ve forgotten.
