If we were having coffee, it would definitely be inside somewhere! 96 sticky degrees for a high today and the humidity has stuck around the last few days. No complaints though! I’ll take this over snow any day. Although, I found a video clip from our GoPro yesterday from our UP snowmobile trip and for half a second, I was looking forward to January!
What does your weekend have in store? I have a list of errands to get done today and tomorrow – shower and birthday gifts to buy, we need to coat all of our leather gear with Doc Bailey’s and I plan to take at least 8 inches off my hair for Children with Hair Loss. I can’t wait, it’s way too long and driving me crazy.
It’s also time to start the beef jerky. It’s a tradition on our road trip out west and we’re packing extra for friends we are meeting up with. Last weekend we rode out to Cabela’s to get more of our favorite seasoning.
Hickory is our favorite, although I also plan to try the Apple Blend this year.
So many blends, so little time!
We’re also praying tomorrow’s thunderstorms in the forecast will change direction, Bill goes for his Richard Petty Driving Experience at MIS! He gets to drive 18 laps in a real race car. I don’t know who is more excited!
Thanks for visiting! What plans do you have for this balmy weekend?

Thanks! I look forward to blogging from the road – just got my bluetooth keyboard I ordered for my tablet! 77 is heavenly!
Cabelas is one of my favorite places!
Mine too! And it’s a nice ride from where we live..
OK, it is humid there too despite my teasing on my blog 😉 Usually I think Arizona = Arid-Zone-a…. I saw the tweet at the side of your post that you did cut the 8″ That is a great gift to give!
Have a great week! Stay cool.
Thanks, you too! I know the snow is coming all too soon so I don’t mind the heat.. Yes, it’s nice to have the hair gone.. Glad it’s going to a good cause and it’s so much quicker to dry now! LOL
Eight inches is a lot of hair to cut off! Sounds like it’s for a good cause, though, and definitely sounds like you’re excited about losing it. 🙂

Thanks! Yes, I’m glad to donate it, I’m used to long hair so I let it get super long and then cut and donate.. This is my 5th donation, I think.. 🙂
It is so cool that you grow your hair out and then cut it off to donate! Safe travels!
Thanks! It’s nice knowing it’s going to a good cause. Thanks for reading!
