If we were having coffee, inside on this humid summer morning, I’d say that I hope you still have power. Last night’s storms were wicked, we lost quite a few branches, one that hit Bill’s truck, unfortunately. Luckily we did not lose power though, and those in the sub across the street have. Generators were still humming this morning. Garden City DPW did a bang up job clearing a downed tree that was blocking the road. Bad pic, it was dark.
This morning I woke up and it was completely cleared. Thank you Ninjas!
If we were having coffee, I’d tell you how geeked I am to meet up with a friend later that I haven’t seen in months. We are going to the Farmington Farmer’s Market. Although it looks like we’re in for another round of weather. Later today I’ll need to go order a rear tire for my bike.
I’ve been drying lots of fruit with my dehydrator for our trip – this time I tried apricots and white peaches. The apricots were quite sour. Yes, my favorite!! Heehee. And more jackfruit, that stuff is addicting!
Other than that, it’s been pretty uneventful. How was your week?

Yes, we still have power. This morning the heart of the strom was over Meridian and the wind blew the tpos of the trees over, but on the ground. Kato had no walk and Bob and he were sleeping when the sun came out and no rain. He begin by waking Bob up and he is now taking a walk. Glad the Garden City PD got the tree out the way. Enjoy your dehydrated fruit. That is usually off my diet because I am deadly allergic to sulfur.

Thanks so much for the coffee. It’s Winter here and I have been nibbling on some whole dried apricots, although I didn’t dry them myself. Made a great lemon yogurt cake yesterday from a Donna Hay recipe, which I’ll post. Hope you have a great week!
