Good Morning and come on in! Make yourself comfy. We’ve got 42 out on the patio right now, how about we mingle indoors? Hopefully soon it will be time for patio coffee.
If we were having coffee, I’d tell you that I survived my second week of Lean Six Sigma class.. We had a different instructor, and she was as amazing as the one we had last week. She used a few more visuals I really liked, such as our class agenda which kept us on track for the day. Once again, I was able to keep up, but there will again be loads of study time in my future to reinforce everything. I also made flashcards using Brainscape, which also has an app, so I can study during any pocket of time I need to wait for anything. Pretty Star Trek!
Bill surprised me yesterday and opened the camper while I was in class – it was such a nice surprise to come home to the cover off and the slides out! She survived another winter (I’m always paranoid about leaks) so all we need to do is de-winterize and pack for our first trip at the end of April. This is especially awesome because I had planned to do it this weekend. Since he took care of it I have more time to study!
If we were having coffee, I’d share that, yes, I am totally in love with our remote work situation. Last Monday was our first, glorious day and I rejoiced with my co-workers.
Now I hope and pray our two days per week can extend into three or four! That’s the word on the street, at least. This is truly a dream come true.
Okay, I’ll stop gushing.
If we were having coffee, I’d tell you that I’m off later this morning to visit a co-worker who has been out ill for a while. I look forward to our visit and hopefully it warms up soon so we can enjoy the day outdoors.
I’ve also written this entire post without the use of my wireless mouse! My work mouse died so I replaced it with my home mouse, which is upstairs in my laptop bag. I just didn’t feel like going to get it. I dislike using the touchpad, but I did it! Small victories.
Need a warm up? How was your week? Join us at Eclectic Alli’s Weekend Coffee Share and tell us about it!
