Welcome back to the weekend coffee share, and thank you for stopping by! It’s a breezy 59 degrees, and I’m not adapting to the drop in temperature very well. I do love Fall as I mentioned at our last coffee share, but last night I got a reminder of the cold and rain that comes along with it. Along with gloomy skies that we deal with just about every day of the season. Here we go! I can only hope that we get decent snow this winter so we can go snowmobiling and make the winter fly by.
My wonderful husband who can’t stand when anything is broken took apart our squealing dishwasher this morning (against my urging not to, his hand is bothering him, he’s having trouble gripping and really should rest it). I assisted where I could and now he’s off to find the part, so I’m keeping my fingers crossed.
If we were having coffee, I’d tell you that my new neighbor is having a housewarming party today, complete with a bounce house. She kindly invited us (translated: please don’t call the police, hahaha) but Bill and I are well beyond going to parties where we only know the host. We may sit out and at the campfire and wave over the fence. At least, I hope we can, as it was pretty chilly and rainy last night for #feetupfriday. I had to console myself with my gas fireplace. Here’s to the cold and rainy season. Not.
So we stayed inside and watched Friend Request, a movie on Netflix that we both found to be pretty good. It was nice to find a good movie and watch it to the end. Often, I stop watching 10 or 15 minutes into a movie, not being able to handle the slow plot or finding it just to farfetched for my liking. Friend Request also had a very haunting background melody throughout the movie that I still have going through my head. Check it out!
If we were having coffee, I’d tell you that I need to pay my online Scentsy dealer a visit as I need more bulbs and also change out the wax in my warmers. I save cardboard egg cartons to make firestarters with the old wax – they work great!
Well, Bill is back with a new pump motor, keep your fingers crossed we still have a dishwasher!
Grab a beverage and join us over at Eclectic Ali’s for the #WeekendCoffeeShare!

All wonderful – except that gas fireplace. Our home has 2 of them and we don’t ever use them. Somehow a gas fireplace never deserves the title of fireplace. High five to Bill and his tool bag. Blessings.
Yes, I grew up with a wood burner and I miss it.. It’s better than nothing.. Thanks for reading!
Great catch-up. I hope the home appliance repair goes well.
Thank you for stopping by! Everything went great, I know more about dishwashers than I ever thought I would!
Love the fireplace! We’re getting chillier weather. Would be lovely to warm our toes by a fire…
It sure is nice on a rainy, cold day!
You should at least try out the Bouncy Castle! Have a great weekend:-)
