Good morning and come on in! Thanks for returning to the Weekend Coffee Share. I have Salted Caramel k-cups if you’re interested and like your coffee sweet, Pumpkin Spice or my trusty standby, Starbuck’s Pike Place.
If we were having coffee, I’d tell you that Friday morning was our first snowfall of the season, just in time for morning rush hour. Complete with an accident blocking three lanes of traffic so only the left lane was open. Thank God for those digital signs that told us the accident was on the express lanes, several miles in advance. I was able to get over onto the local lanes and made it through quicker than I thought, since everyone else had the same idea.
It snowed off and on throughout the rest of Friday, but not enough to stick. There are still some flakes out on the leaves that we have yet to pick up, along with some small drifts on some of the rooftops in the neighborhood. I’m hoping for some still relatively mild weather this month to get the yard work finished.
Saturday Bill moved the snowmobile trailer out from its summer resting place, so that we can easily hook up when the time comes! (snow dancing)
If we were having coffee, I’d tell you that the NaBloPoMo Revival is going well! I’m still in the game and have actually been able to work with most of the prompts. I really struggled in years past to adhere to the daily prompts that were given, I never felt that I had anything to write about on the proposed topic.
On the reading front, I just finished Seed, by Ania Ahlborn, it was very, very good! My favorite by her so far. Get a copy! I’m now two books away from goal for the GoodReads 2018 Reading Challenge.
If we were having coffee, I’d share with you our first holiday decorating fiasco, which also took place Saturday afternoon. It turned out fine, but not without some hair pulling (my own, of course). I wish the pic turned out better, but it really looks nice IRL.
Stick around for breakfast? Tina’s Casserole should be done soon and there is plenty. How are you doing on coffee?
Grab a beverage or a warm up and join us over at Eclectic Ali’s for the #WeekendCoffeeShare!

Oh how wonderful that you had your first snowfall. I am still waiting and probably will have to for a while. Thank you for stopping by my blog and reading. Happy Sunday, Tobia
Those sound amazing!!! Thanks so much for stopping by!
I’ve never had salted caramel coffee before but I’ll give it a try. My husband makes some amazing salted caramel Snickerdoodles that would go great. I am so not ready for snow but they are predicated some for this area on Thursdays. Let’s hope we “weather” ours as well as you did. Good luck with your writing!
Snow already! That only inspires hibernation for me.
YES! I’m hoping to remain active this winter!
The seasonal coffee was delicious. Thank you! I’m slightly jealous of your snow 🙂 How fun! You’re doping awesome with your writing and reading challenges. I am not participating ina any writing challenges at the moment. In my head I am committed to 2-3 blog posts a week, which I feel is a good amount for me at the moment (fun and still challenging.)
Glad you liked it! 🙂 It’s supposed to warm up to 50 next week (how funny that must sound when you live in Nevada) which is great since we still have yard work to do. BTW, I emailed Gary Wilson, he is fine. Was concerned since he didn’t post in the coffee share and it looks like he’s relatively close to the fire. 🙁
Hi Kathleen,
Thank you very much for the coffee. There’s no snow at our end. We’re heading into Summer and when I went to get dressed for a funeral today, my lipstick was liquid and ran all over the vanity as I was heading out. As hot as it gets here, that’s never happened before aand I’m oving my lipsticks. Not quite putting them in the fridge but you’ve gotta wonder.
I forgot to upload my link yesterday. So here’s a link to my coffee share post: https://beyondtheflow.wordpress.com/2018/11/12/weekend-coffee-share-12th-november-2018/
Best wishes,
Rowena
