Good morning, is that the sun out there?? How I can’t wait to enjoy our coffees on the patio again. It won’t be long, next week we flip the clocks forward an hour. The 40 degree temps and sunshine we’re having have melted much of the snow from Thursday’s storm, but now I hear we’re in for another 1 – 2” on Monday night.
If we were having coffee, I’d tell you that I’m 2 for 2 so far with the March Photo a Day Challenge and yesterday’s theme was – COFFEE! Today’s is food. I’m thinking of whipping up some tasty Peach Tomato Gazpacho, perhaps that will be my subject. One thing about being off is I’ve had the extra time to prepare a variety of diet friendly recipes I have in my arsenal. That and being able to walk again, even just for short times, makes me a very happy girl.
If we were having coffee, I’d tell you my blissful hours in which I lose myself in a book continue. 😊 I finished up The Woman in Cabin 10 and next up is The Pretty Ones, by Ania Alhborn.
I’m still counting the days and watching the mail for my first Nocturnal Reader’s Box! (rubbing hands together)
I was happy to receive the most awesome Get Well card from my team at work, and also a card from a co-worker from another team – just made my day. I hope things haven’t been too hairy for my colleagues covering my projects for me.
My first PT session went well on Wednesday – I had to laugh while on the bike in the gym – Eye of the Tiger came on the radio and all I could think of was this video. Hahaha.. I’m scheduled for 7 more sessions now and anxious to return next week.
What’s new with you? Would you like a warm up?

The coffee is really good! Thank you so much! Maybe it’s warm enough for the patio next week? I can’t wait for spring to come! I want to plant a garden, and get some more fruit trees, and enjoy a good book outside. I hope your weekend is as good as the rest of your week. It sound like it was a pretty good week. 🙂
Thanks for stopping by! I anxious to put in my garden as well, I’m expanding it this year and pretty much learning as I go! I miss the days of stretching out in the hammock with a book.. Have a great week!
Glad to hear you are on the mend. Cooking happy food is always good therapy.
Thank you! I’ve never thought of it as therapy, I imagine it would be, creating something healthy.
