Hello everyone, I’m late to the party again. I feel like I need to start these posts on Friday night and maybe they’ll make it to my blog by Sunday. I’m on the patio on this gorgeous late July evening, what I can I get you to drink? I’m opting for some amazing blueberry moscato I found over the weekend.

If we were having a beverage, I’d tell you that I was amazed to receive a perfect score on our case study – the project we had to turn in as part of our Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification. There was a LOT of components to this, and I was sure they’d grade it tough. But every piece we put together passed with their approval and we received a 20 out of 20 as a group, which consisted of just one other co-worker and I. Now the next piece is my actual work project. If that passes, and I’ll do everything in my power to ensure it does, I’ll have my official certification.

If we were having a beverage, I’d tell you I finally folded and signed up for Amazon Prime and OMG I love it. So far I’ve purchased my kayak cart, a case for my GoPro, replacement bulbs for our patio string lighting and also my Scentsy warmers, and some SPF 45 lip balm from Hawaiian Tropic. All delivered the next day. I’m in heaven. Friend of ours also recommended the movie rentals, which we plan to check out.

On Wednesday the 24th we attended a very cool presentation at our awesome local library on Haunted Anchor Bay. The presentation was given by Debi Chestnut, a ghost hunter and psychic medium. Anchor Bay is in eastern Michigan, north of Lake Saint Clair. She had some pretty intriguing tales to tell!

Our awesome librarian, who is also a friend, put some books of the same genre in the room. Smart cookie! How could I walk out bookless?

I had to laugh when she approached me and asked if a book donation recently made was from me – horror books in a Harley Davidson shopping bag. Haha! Guilty as charged.

If we were having a beverage, I’d tell you that I have blackberries! As I suspected, a bird ate the very first one, but they apparently decided to let me harvest some.

Although I did discover this little bugger, who I’m pretty sure is dining on my plant. Anyone know what this is?

Pretty darn long back legs. He must have been stretching.

If we were having a beverage, I’d tell you about the bees and butterflies in my wildflower garden. The milkweed has multiplied every year, and this is the first year I’ve seen butterflies. We had a lovely couple flitting about a few days ago, and we see bees pretty regularly on our purple coneflower. I’ve seen lots of these types of pics on Facebook shared by friends!

As we wind down this Sunday evening and prepare for Monday, I’d tell you that I’m loving the second Acer 23″ widescreen monitor I bought for working remotely. It’s made my workday so much easier, though my dining room now looks like NASA, with two screens and a laptop.

Once the weather cools a bit I’ll move everything back upstairs to my office, but this heat and humidity has chased me down to the first level.

Well, I must be going. I think I’ll get in a stroll around the block and get some steps in. Today was not as active as I’d have liked! Thanks for stopping by!
