Good Morning and come on in!  I’m afraid I’m not very prepared in terms of Irish treats to offer you, except if you’d like a shot of Irish cream in your coffee. Let the shenanigans begin!  LOL  Kidding.

How was your week? In between PT exercises and Netflix, I’ve been working on finishing several books I’ve started, in order to dig into my latest finds (rubbing hands together).

I’ve been known to read several books simultaneously, but I’m probably better off finishing them one by one. I’m finding I’m not liking having books unfinished as more Amazon boxes arrive at my door. 🙂

On the topic of PT, it’s going well, and I’m noticing the exercises getting easier. They’ve added some additional ones that are more difficult though, and those are kicking my butt. I’m happiest about being able to walk without pain. I’d almost forgotten what that was like! Monday I find out if I’m scheduled for more sessions.

If we were having coffee, I’d tell you a I’m a tad concerned about my seedlings. Only my basil has sprouted, and they were all planted together over a week ago. I’m hoping they just take longer to germinate. The tray on the right will hopefully contain cilantro and jalapeno. The sage (far left) is just starting to emerge.

If we were having coffee, I’d tell you that today I’m off to a craft show to see some friends from Detroit Junkyard Dog, check out their Etsy page! They’ve done some amazingly creative things with recycled metals. Bill just went through the garage and gave me a big bag of spark plugs to bring to them!

Tomorrow it’s supposed to be a balmy 53 degrees so I hope to get out and do some yard clean up that I’ve been complaining about, as much as my hip will allow. It’s coming along nicely though. I’m anxious to see my surgeon in the coming weeks and get the verdict.

More coffee?  How are you spending your weekend?

  1. Seedlings! I’m jealous, and so excited to start my own soon. I usually start them last week of March, or first week of April. Enjoy your books. I’ve read the one on top of your pile, but not the others. I enjoyed it. Have a wonderful rest of your weekend!

    1. 🙂 Maybe I started them too soon? LOL I thought they needed 8 – 10 weeks, so I got them started. And I noticed today that my jalapeno and cilantro are starting to pop up! Thanks for stopping by!

  2. Glad to hear your PT is having positive effects. Walking without pain must be a joy. Perhaps your seedlings take different times to germinate. Hope they have all come up by now. Thanks for coffee. Have a lovely week.

    1. Thanks Irene! Yes, the cilantro and jalapeno must take a week or two longer.. I’ll have to remember that for next year. 🙂

  3. 🙂 Yes, my fur children would have definitely gotten involved. And as for the outdoor critters, I have to plant everything under wildlife netting. Thanks for stopping by!
