Greetings, Coffee Share friends! We are on location this weekend in northern Michigan at the Mountain Valley Lodge in Thompsonville Michigan! The last time we were here, unfortunately, turned out to be our last trip with our Kawasaki Invaders. So we’re here making memories in familiar places but with different sleds in a new chapter of our motorsport lives.

I’m excited to share this upcoming story with you for the following reasons:

  • After studying Google Maps, I believe I found a way to access the trails right from the lodge. (In the past, we had to pull the trailer to a staging area to access the trail). I’m over the MOON excited about this to possibly not have to drive, unload, load and drive back to the lodge. I hope it works out.
  • We purchased a Bluetooth helmet to helmet intercom system, allowing us to communicate while on the trail. This will be HUGE and I can’t wait to try it out this weekend..
  • Finally, after 16 years of snowmobiling, I ordered a Muff Pot! (I’m not an affiliate.) It’s a metal, mess kit looking pan that clamps to the muffler of your sled and cooks your food while you’re riding!  Hahaha..
  • Lastly, I found and loaded the BRP GO! app, by Skidoo, which tracks and organizes your ride!

Stay tuned for the outcome of our next adventure! I hope you all had a great week and I look forward to stopping by to catch up..
