Good Morning!
Thanks for stopping by for a quick coffee.. I’m off in just a bit to Day 2 of green belt training for Lean Six Sigma. Yesterday’s class was pretty good, lots of information but the instructors have done a great job of keeping the class engaged.
I’m grateful for this learning opportunity but it was a bummer to forfeit on sleeping in on Saturday and Sunday. Ugh! Not the end of the world but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t look forward to it each weekend!
I’m also happy to report that I’m pretty much over this cold, which is good because I’m counting the DAYS (hours, it seems like) until my surgery. I can’t imagine had I waited any longer to schedule it. I had to wait 90 days as it is and it’s really worsened in that time. No fun at all!
So this is my last week and then in recovery mode for a while. It will be a busy week, transferring projects to my colleagues and making sure all questions are answered and they have everything they need.
Well, I must grab my travel mug and hit the road. How was your week? Stop by the coffee share and let us know!

all the best with your last week at work. Sometimes the preparation to be absent takes so much work that it is almost easier not to go (you can’t not go when its surgery but holidays etc). I know what you mean about having to get up when you normally don’t have to. I am a very early riser but even so I avoid scheduling anything that starts before 9am. It makes me feel rushed. At least they are not my days of rest as everyday has become that since retirement. hold on – no I do more now than I ever did. Have a great week. Thanks for coffee.

Hi. I hope you enjoyed the Green Belt training because it will make your professional life different from now on. I did a big step in my life moving from IT to Continuous Improvement and I could see only benefits on that.
Best Regards.
