I’m reading this really interesting book, Write It Down, Make It Happen, by Henriette Anne Klauser, and she talks about writing through to resolution.  When stuck, not knowing what to write about, you just write anyway. About anything. Keep going, fill the page and go to the next, when that’s full, fill another page.  The idea is to keep pushing yourself and in doing this, you’ll eventually uncover what is holding you back.  So I started Saturday and so far I’ve made it two days.

It worked. Three separate times.

Today I just wanted to write, keep up on my blog since my last post was the end of NaBloPoMo. Like most days, I was stuck for what to say. So I just wrote. I just kept going on about anything, and sure enough, ideas started to form. And as my fingers flew across the keys, more ideas popped into my head and out onto the screen. I also came up with a few ideas on a few areas I’ve felt stuck. I was pretty amazed.

Give it a shot!  I now have a daily page in my Penzu journal in which I’ll just empty my head, every day. 1,000 words. Who knows what I’ll uncover!
